The ‘Request Files’ button is an easy way for a registered DropSecure user to request for information that they need.

Click on the ‘Request Files’ button on the top right-hand corner of your DropSecure dashboard, enter the recipients email ids and/or a message. You can even include attachments by clicking on the ‘Add Attachments’ link.

‘Encrypt and Send’ ensures that the message/ attachments are always secured with DropSecure’s military grade encryption.

The recipients of this message will receive the ‘Secure Link’ in their email accounts. They can ‘Send Reply’ with the requested attachments/messages and are safeguarded with the same encryption standards that DropSecure guarantees for all its users.

For enhanced security, DropSecure has now added the option to disable the availability of the ‘Secure Link’ in the notification email when an external user clicks ‘Send Reply’ or uses the Secure Share URL to share files with a DropSecure user.

This feature is available on the Accounts page under the Settings dropdown menu on the top right-hand corner ‘Include download link in the email for clients sending files to your registered users. For added security, please disable.’

What happens when you disable this feature?

The ‘Secure Link’ in the email notification that the external sender receives on sending a DropSecure user an attachment will not be available to them. Click here to see the image of how the notification looks when this option is disabled to the external sender.

The Multi-File Download feature has been enhanced to create a zip folder when two or more files are downloaded together. Due to our strong end-to-end encryption currently multi-file zip download is limited to 500 MB.
